It all started with homemade batch of sunscreen.
Ross and Sarah, originally from Scotland and living in the mountains in France, relocated to the western Portugal coast. A new beach lifestyle meant two things: they needed good sunscreen and wanted to protect the ocean. They both gave natural sunscreens a try but didn't like what they found. Thick, white formulas, plastic packaging. A definite no-go. So they got to work by creating the products that they couldn't find. Imagined on a beach in Portugal and developed in Cyprus. Palm & Pine is of European origins with a mission to be loved worldwide.

Palm & Pine carries vegan, plastic-alternative sunscreens, formulated with plant-based natural ingredients and mineral filters for premium, daily UV protection. The brand’s product range is truly ocean-friendly, from product to (100% recycled) packaging.

Sustainable, recycled packaging, high-quality ingredients, and tested to EU and ISO standards. ⁠⁠Selfishly we designed the products for ourselves because we couldn't find anything we liked and felt that sunscreen needed an upgrade. ⁠⁠We didn't like the products and didn't connect with any other brands.

We believe sustainability doesn't need to compromise on style. Sustainable choices can still represent your lifestyle and who you are and at the same time aim to have the lowest impact upon our shared environment and help us to make better choices in our daily lives.⁠⁠
