"Since we were kids, my two brothers and I used to play at my father's soap factory, hiding among machines and racing through piles of soap. At the end of the day, we smelled the scent of the soap that had been made. This is how we grew up, learning a trade that my grandfather Sebastián Sabater started as a perfumer in 1937 and later continued with my father. Together they planned the romantic idea that soap would be the framework for exquisite and select fragrances.

With the same purpose, they began to design and develop machinery for soap making, designs on which we base the machinery we use today in our factories, both in Buenos Aires and Barcelona. As adults, the siblings joined forces to continue the family business and give it a modern and personal touch. Thus SABATER HNOS. Fábrica de jabones was born.

Sometime later, I chose to take the opposite route to my great-grandfather and emigrated to Barcelona with the idea of continuing the family project. This trade is part of my life and my history and I have been transforming it based on practice and intuition. With years of experience behind it, this project continues to grow today with the same enthusiasm as at the beginning."

The brand’s factory is located in an old textile factory in Barcelona, where all products are manufactured by hand with the utmost care. The manufacturing process Sabater Hnos. uses is cold and does not generate any waste. All their handmade products are natural, vegan, and biodegradable. The brand uses vegetable oils, natural additives, and fragrances of the highest quality and are free of toxins, parabens, sulfates, silicones, mineral oils, or preservatives. None of the components the brand uses have been tested on animals.
